RGA has contributed to the promotion through the planning process of this 14 hectare site in Aveley near Thurrock within the Thames Gateway area. These proposals are for the provision of approximately 530 new homes with additional community facilities. Our landscape concept suggests a green infrastructure linking with local open spaces, areas of woodland and wildlife habitats. The evaluation of landscape and visual issues has influenced the nature of the proposed boundary treatment and the extension of fingers of framework planting gives a structure to the development plan. Productive communal gardens combined with native habitats alongside the SUDS features will be created for the residents
